Harmonious Dichotomy
Although trees are a very familiar sight, how often do you stand right under one and look up? After a heavy snowfall, the thick, snow covered limbs of this oak tree caught my eye from a distance, but it wasn't until I leaned right against its massive trunk and craned my head back that the full splendor and complexity of the tree revealed itself. The maze of snow covered branches, large and small, seemed simultaneously chaotic and in perfect harmony, just as our own lives can often feel.
