Forever in Flux
Evening light illuminates Skyline Arch, one of over 2,000 arches in Utah’s Arches National Park. While arches such as Skyline Arch seem to be permanent fixtures of the landscape, the forces of time and nature are constantly sculpting the sandstone of this incredible corner of Utah. Case in point: In 1940, a massive boulder fell from Skyline Arch, nearly doubling its size.
