Days are Numbered
A lone sea stack of iron-rich red stone stands off the lush, flower-lined cliffs of Prince Edward Island. Fierce storms, such as Hurricane Fiona, constantly sculpt the coast, creating wondrous coastal features like arches and sea stacks, while also turning towers of seemingly unbreakable stone into rubble. It won’t take many more storms to make this view nothing but a memory, but like a snake sheds its old skin to begin anew, so too does the coastline of PEI.
