Roaming the backroads of the American West in my Land Cruiser for weeks on end, with all that I need to thrive in tow – a sleeping bag and pad, water, my photography gear, and enough ramen noodles and freeze-dried meals to feed a college dorm – makes me feel alive like nothing else can. This gallery represents the moments when my Land Cruiser became the subject, and my hope is that these images convey the same feelings of ecstasy and adventure that I feel out on the lonely, open roads and trails of the West.
